The district's Language Instruction Education Plan for multilingual learners (MLs) whose first language (L1) is Spanish is called High-Intensity ESL. Students in the High-Intensity ESL program take one ESL class and have an additional ESL push-in or pull-out support or reading class each day. MLs whose L1 is not Spanish, take on ESL class each day.
