AD's Office

I am very proud to be the 5th Director of Athletics in the history of Pompton Lakes HS since its inception in 1932. It is a sincere honor to be a part of a school community filled with enthusiasm about their education and athletics, along with a staff dedicated to the success of every student.

In 2008, I earned a degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education from Marist College, where I was also afforded the opportunity to play football at the Division 1 level. In addition, I hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. Before coming to Pompton Lakes, I taught and coached at Boonton High School where I served as an Assistant Football Coach for 13 years, Head Boys Basketball Coach for 8 years, Head Boys Tennis Coach for 8 years, and Assistant Baseball Coach for 3 years. Through my own playing and coaching experience, I have come to be a firm believer that interscholastic athletics is an immense part of excelling in an educational setting. Cardinal student athletes work hard to fulfill their potential in the classroom and on the playing field. They are role models and leaders within our community.

Growing up, I knew I wanted to be in the field of education and athletics, and I am excited to be given the opportunity to be a part of the Pompton Lakes High School educational community. Do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns. Better yet, stop by the high school if you have a minute; my door is always open.

Go Cardinals!

Sincerely,

Michael J. London
