New Student Registration Instructions (Students New to the Pompton Lakes School District)

If you are a resident looking to register your child for the 2023-2024 school year, or your child will be attending school as an incoming Kindergarten or 9th Grade student (from Riverdale only) for the 2024-2025 school year, please complete all the steps below. The district's registration process is now done through our online platform, OnCourse Connect:

1. For students who are transferring to the Pompton Lakes School District from another New Jersey public school, parents/guardians must submit a completed Transfer Card (requires a signature from the previous school). The card, once completed, will need to be uploaded through the OnCourse Connect platform by the parent/guardian.

2. Complete all parts of the New Student Registration. This includes the Proof of Residency portion.
